About
Delaware County Animal Control
Delaware County Animal Control has been serving local homes and businesses since 1976. What began as a small extermination service led by founder Rahn Monrea’L has grown into a dedicated wildlife control and animal control team focused on public safety and respect for animals.
From the beginning, the company has worked under the belief that animals should be treated with care, even when they are in the wrong place. Our guiding message, “We Speak for Those Who Have No Voice,” demonstrates how our officers handle wildlife, explain options to property owners, and choose humane wildlife removal methods whenever possible.
Today, the company operates with a structured command staff, 9 full-time officers, and 12 part-time team members covering Delaware County, Philadelphia. Our business is fully licensed and insured, and licensed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. All of our officers are certified in animal control, and technicians are trained in animal husbandry and habitat care, meaning every call is handled by people with daily wildlife experience.
Wildlife Problems We Handle Every Day
Wildlife issues rarely happen at a convenient time. You might hear scratching in the attic late at night, notice trash cans knocked over in the morning, or spot a nest near your front door. It can be hard to tell if the problem is only a nuisance or something that could harm your family, pets, or property.
Delaware County Animal Control helps homeowners and small businesses across the area with these situations every day. Our team focuses on fast response, clear explanations, and humane wildlife removal so you are not left guessing what to do next.
Common problems we respond to include:
Scratching or other noises in attics, walls, chimneys, or crawl spaces
Raccoons getting into trash cans, garages, and sheds
Squirrels chewing wires or nesting in attics and soffits
Skunk activity and strong odors around yards and decks
Bats roosting in attics or entering living spaces
Snakes in basements, garages, gardens, and pools
Groundhogs tunneling under sheds, decks, and lawns
Foxes digging in gardens and scavenging through trash
Bee, wasp, or hornet nests near doors, play areas, and patios
Dead animals on lawns, under decks, or near homes or businesses
